Another of the paintings for the San Diego Air and Space Museum hall of fame of Jerry Coleman, MLB player, Marine pilot who flew in both the second World War and Korean War. Only major league player to do it. Great person on top of it.
Here is Apollo 7 astronaut Walter Cunningham whose flight was the first after the tragic on the pad accident that killed all three members of the crew that were going through on the pad exercises making sure the systems were working properly. I now have done Astronauts Cernan, Ride, Carpenter, and now Cunningham.
I have just completed in the last week my latest contribution to the Missouri Valley Conference Hall of Fame headquartered in St. Louis, MO. I have been a professional artist and married to my great and supportive wife since 1978. Growing up in San Diego and education in the public schools has given me my identity that people have come to know. My career in the art field has had its rewards as well as its setbacks. One thing has remained and that is my abilities. Having and making friends along with my wife and kids makes me the happiest. I look forward to the challenges ahead.
